Job purpose
To conduct laboratory testing and to liaise with external test facilities, ensuring Fiskars product meets technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-house product testing
Collaborate with the suppliers to review the test instructions and results
Cooperate testing with the certified labs.
Reporting the test and analysis its implication.
Manage the processes of product testing and identify opportunity to improve
Design and execute the maintenance and calibration plans
Skills, knowledge and experience
Education: Bachelor's degree holder in Chemistry, Science or any field of Engineering
Experience & knowledge:
0 - 7 years-experience in Product Testing. New graduated are welcome.
Understand ISO9001, ISO17025, 6S methodology
Good knowledge of machines, functions, and basic conditions of machines in Laboratory. If they are related to tableware testing, it would be an advantage.
Basic understanding in Product compliance e.g. Food contact, Cal-prop65, CPSIA
Good understanding of materials & substances such as stainless steel and ceramics would be beneficial
Good understanding in Manufacturing Process about Ceramics or Cutlery would be an advantage.
Project Management skills
Strong written and spoken communication skills; presentation, interpersonal. Collaborative & influential. Proactive, curious & committed.
Team player, optimistic, joyful and can work under pressure.
Language skills: Fluent written and spoken English
