Job Description
We are looking for a UI/UX designer who wants to understand how an e-commerce fashion brand works and create a seamless digital experience for its customers. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys creating pleasing and functional systems.
We are looking for a detail-oriented person who is passionate about her/his profession and wants to experiment and bring new ideas to the team. At Pomelo, each team member is expected to work autonomously, often suggesting new processes or features.
The ideal candidate will work with a team that is committed to leveraging technology as a competitive advantage to create innovative products that delight millions of users throughout Asia and beyond.
Responsibilities
Define user journeys and wireframes to represent them, following the specs created by the product management team.
Design mockups of user journeys defined in collaboration with the product management team. And update mockups of existing features.
Generate clear ideas and concepts to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent design language and user experience.
Apply findings from quantitative and qualitative analysis to her/his designs.
Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the digital design field.
Qualifications
Expert level skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Zeplin, and other relevant design tools.
Basic level skills in Figma
Proven ability to deliver high-quality designs that address business objectives.
Well organized, responsible, and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined designs in a short time.
Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment.
Excellent written and verbal communicator in English at a high level.
2-5 years' experience with a good quality portfolio
Start-up or e-commerce experience is a plus
