We are expanding the AIoT Engineer team to meet the growing demand of our offering. We are exploring the way to ensure that our edge computing operates within its full potential. This is an opportunity to work with already-commercial AI and IoT solutions, homegrown here in Thailand.
Job Description
You will be responsible on the engineering side of our vision analytic solution - actualize how AI models operate and interfaces with edge computing units to produce expected outcomes.
● Ensure that our edge computing unit and its AI yield acceptable business accuracy results. ○ While we can ensure that AI performs at its best, it is crucial to understand that AI may not perform as intended on edge computing units due to limited computing power. Therefore certain modification has to be made in order to optimize how AI acts on edge computing units.
● Responsible for the troubleshooting and resolution of edge computing issues.
○ Investigate and identify root causes of issues that prevent our edge computing to operate as intended.
○ Implement a quick fix onto deployment to ensure that our edge computing unit continues to operate as intended for each of our clients.
○ Co-work with Product Manager and Technical Advisor on applying quick-fix resolution into Production.
● Design, plan, and actualize edge computing unit features and functionality
○ Work with Product Manager and Technical Advisor on suggesting feature and function to maximize usefulness of Vision Analytic to client.
○ Estimate resource taken to complete each of the future.
○ Actualize (building, testing, deploying) features onto production.
Qualification
● Result-driven. Welcome and Enthusiastic towards problem-solving; and works well under pressure is a must.
● Systematic problem-solving skill. While quick fix is always welcome, reproduction and long-term paradigm is appreciated.
● Wide range of computer and network understanding. These are the keywords which you will be encountering a lot: GPU, RTSP, API, JSON, PoE, GCS, FTP, TCP/IP, UDP, MAC Address, Firewall Configuration, VIM, Threshold, XY Coordinates, bash, systemctl, VLOOKUP, SQL just to name a few. You should be comfortable working with these, not necessarily having experience with.
● A minimum of Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer, Computer Network, or Electrical. ● Most of our technology relies on Python - thus a fluency in Python is mandatory.
● Comfortable with *NIX (Linux, to be specific) command line usage.
● Any hands-on experience with IoT or Edge Computing is preferable.
● Strong English skill, particularly in reading and writing.
