Responsibilities:
Working with software engineering teams to improve data collection procedures.
Implement and maintain fault-tolerant and efficient ETL pipelines to ingest data from various data sources
Maintain and optimize relational databases
Work with stakeholders to design data products
Performance tune and optimize code as data grows and needs change.
Work with data analysts and data scientists to generate reports to present key insights to internal partners.
About you:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other related technical disciplines.
Hands-on experience in batch/real-time data integration & processing.
Proficiency in handling databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSql database
Solid background in programming languages like Python/Java/Spark/SQL
Familiarity with dimensional data modeling, and data warehouse concepts and methodologies as well as distributed processing systems
Experience in systems hosted in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Experience with workflow management tools (Airflow) is an advantage.
