Your Challenge
Work closely with the business to define data use cases and own data strategy
Define scalable, cloud-based data platform to support all data activities in the company
Design and assure proper implementation of data governance in the company
Assure collaboration and open data transfer between different teams and systems
Scale and manage a team of data engineers, scientists and analysts
People Management:
Train other members of the team how to properly organize findings and read data collected
Ensure resolution of data conflicts between systems and within systems' data universe
Manage and develop the staffing of the team; champion team collaboration; monitor and develop career paths within the unit as well as make recommendations concerning employment, termination, performance evaluations, salary actions, and other personnel actions 
Requirement
Minimum of 5 years of data management and leadership roles
Demonstrable experience in building scalable data platforms including data warehousing methodology, data quality, data modeling, data governance, analytics and predictive modeling
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in leading and mentoring technical staff in software and product developments
Demonstrated experience translating business and technical requirements into comprehensive software solutionsSignificant experience in developing and implementing reusable data services
Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Hive, and Pig, Cloudera, or large data warehousing initiatives ideally on AWS or AZUREWorking knowledge of data and analytics governance frameworks, concepts, methodologies and modeling techniques
Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around themAble to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace
Strong understanding of Agile methodologiesExperience working on a collaborative Agile team
Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously

Skilled proficiency in preparation of reports, presentations, summaries and analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skills
