The situation
We work lean in devops, preferring to have a minimal team and cross train our engineers with basic devops skills to share knowledge and the workload.
Based on the work and scale of the projects we work with, our Solutions Architect who leads most of our devops efforts and cross-trains our teams now needs a Devops Engineer to support them
The challenges
We need to a stay ahead of our clients, business & develop teams with new ideas & requirements, including demands from new business sectors and industries that we engage with
Our solutions are flexible to change, this teams we lose track between teams and need help consolidating/sharing know-how and techniques across the company
Our development team are learning about DevOps, but we need help building a solid DevOps culture
Tackling new and developing stacks, different solution usage, upcoming changes from 3rd parties, etc. while planning and handling unforeseen issues from various aspects.
The opportunity
We are not strict in everything we do, but broadly you would help be involved with:
Designing cloud infrastructures, application stacks & automated deployments to satisfy both client & developer requirements
Work with various teams for infrastructure planning (with business, developers, QA)
Setup AWS cloud architecture based on designs which team mates can reproduce
Work with developers to investigate issues during development phases & production
Provide / suggest tool chains for maintaining projects and ensure they run smoothly (monitoring, performance test, automated backup & recovery, networking, etc.)
Work with team leads in deciding & improving documentation related to DevOps practice (Architectures, Setup Guides, Organizing Knowhow, etc.)
Observe, research & create proof-of-concepts for tech stacks / architectures both up-to-date solutions & early phase ones (comparing, pros, cons, trade offs)
Examples of work you might involved in
Setup / prep variation of these tech stacks / tools - We're adopted with Docker / Container ecosystem, allow us Bring Your Own Choice for devs & biz
Apps / Frameworks: PHP, NodeJS, Golang, Python, Laravel, NuxtJS, VueJS, ExpressJS
Database tier: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, InfluxDB
Code Repository: Github, BitBucket
CI/CD: CircleCI, AWS CodePipeline, Github Actions (Jenkins can do but we aren't prefer)
AWS Services: EC2, S3, SQS, RDS, ALB, ElastiCache, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch, Fargate, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, ECS, EKS
Misc: ELK, Sentry, Grafana, Lens, Terraform, otherwise, Shell script
Investigate & analyze issues from production incidents
Perform performance / stress testing (k6 / vegeta)
Perform various DevOps sessions & workshops from 101 to Kubernetes occasionally

We don't particularly care about age, gender, ethnicity, work experience, or education etc. Life has taught us that greatness comes in all shapes and sizes.
What we want you to have
Familiar with AWS (Amazon Web Services) and its aspects to achieve your work, alternative cloud providers are acceptable (working with various providers is a plus)
Any AWS Certification (Associate) is recommended but not required (we'll cover your AWS certificates exam cost during work with us, just do it =) )
Experience about web development, using various of debugging tools (working with broad application stacks is a plus)
Experience about Automation Deployment, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Monitoring
Experience about Network Engineering, System Admin, Performance Tuning, Penetration Testing is a plus
Experience worked with marketing / media agencies, commerce platforms or blockchain is a plus
Familiar or learning in these keywords is a plus: Reverse Engineering, Ethical Hacking
Being proactive, critical thinking, can investigate issues in the black box
