Job Purpose/Role
Our company is currently in the process of revolutionizing an internal IT industry to optimize and improve our customer journey throughout our TD platform of which it supports from the Point of Sales to the gigantic ERP system. The DevOps Engineer role plays a significant part to help our product to the top of the retail industry.
Even we are very new in this industry, but our team consists of many technical experts. We plan to build the best practice of the DevOps field of which includes keep-alive, and resilience. We do not have any intention to stop you from what you are, but we love to strengthen your expertise to advantage over the competitive of this industry.
Key Responsibilities
Working with Business Analysts or Business Customers for requirements definition and transforming these into technical design
Leads technical teams that cover one or more of the following disciplines: deployment and configuration management, release management, technical cut-over, environment management and infrastructure automation
Applies DevOps thinking - e.g. brings development and IT Ops processes, people and tools closer together - in order to increase the speed, efficiency and quality with which we deliver technical solutions out
Defines and executes a balanced management methodology that is capable of organizing a diverse collection of technical activities into a work-stream
Provides DevOps thought leadership and mentoring in both advisory and delivery contexts, focusing on the requirements
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science /Information Systems/Engineering/related fields
At least 4 years' experience working with modern systems languages such as JAVA, Node.js or Python
At least 2 years' experience in Cloud platform such as GCP, AWS, Azure and Huawei.
Strong knowledge in Kubernetes engine such as Pods design, Replica Set, Load balancer and Ingress
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Github is a plus
Experience debugging and reasoning about production issues
