The Opportunity:
My client is one of the world's leading wealth management companies and is a global leader in corporate and investment banking that serves corporations, governments, institutions and individuals around the world.They are also listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
They are currently looking to hire a Finance Analyst to join their team with technical and practical knowledge of Singapore statutory & regulatory (MAS and SGX) requirements for Capital Markets Services license holder & relevant accounting experience in Broker-Dealer entity.
Job scope:
Review Leadership management meeting (LMT) financials commentaries
Review Risk Based Capital (RBC) Returns and submission on SGX esub
Review close commentaries and schedules (IBK/Service fees/sanity check/etc.)
Resolve month-end breaks/issues (where applicable)
Review F&O service fee computations
Review Monthly FX levelling
Submit Internationalisation of SGD return to MAS
Governance matters - Update change management template/ Legal Entity Database attestation (LED) etc.
Review GST Returns
Review Quarterly Income & Expenditure
Review Legal Pack commentaries
High-level review of Service Agreement Data Base (SADB) input
Tax forecast and Ousart tax template at q-end
Provide data for annual review of insurance coverage for Investment Banking (IBK) advisory deals (initiated by insurance team and SG Compliance)
Coordinate PWC audit queries for Company
Review additional true-up adjustments brought up during PWC audit
Review FS workings and FS Draft which will be presented to BOD
Review Annual regulatory forms
Review annual regulatory forms (if applicable)
Company's Financial Incentive Scheme (FSI) Annual Return
Ad-hoc queries from BFC - F&O / Equities/IBK and Operations teams
Coordinate updates/additions/deletions of SOWs and SFAs
Review latest developments in SGX/MAS Regulatory requirements and GAAP updates
Participate in GLOSS/GMI projects
Approve new segment requests in Oracle
Approve new account matrixes in Risk Based Capital (RBC) / Daily Total Risk Requirements (TRR) workings
Coordinate with Compliance on regulatory notification requirements to SGX/MAS
Coordinate new/additional data requests from SGX and MAS - Financial Regulatory Reporting Related (FRR)
The Talent:
AT least 6 years experience in Finance Analyst
Technical and practical knowledge of Singapore statutory & regulatory (MAS and SGX) requirements for Capital Markets Services license holder
Relevant accounting experience in Broker-Dealer entity
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Working hours: Monday -Friday: 09:00am-18:00pm
