Person Specification:
Essential
- Thai nationals
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, a professional accounting qualification or relevant
experiences
- Proven accounting and financial experience, 3 years as minimum
- Experience of maintaining finance systems and procedures
- Basic knowledge of accounting, procedures, standards and financial issues
- Skill in preparing and maintaining accurate accounting records, financial statements and budgets
- Experience of providing finance and systems training
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong IT user skills including intermediate level knowledge of spreadsheets
- Good command of spoken and written English, preferable
- Skill in cash management (cashiering and cash transaction) including cash disbursement and
cheque payments
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Culture awareness and sensitivity
- A commitment towards working to our values
Desirable
- Experience of working in a multi and/or international disciplinary team
- Experience of working for an NGO/INGO
- Experience in working with members and partners on financial information and financial reports
- Understanding of international development work
