Your Role
As  Head of Engineering, you will lead a group of software developers and guide technological capabilities area (LLM/AI, other). You will develop domain strategies and guide continual learning and upskilling among the staff members, across the company and in externally in related community. You will guide clients and projects and help ensure that we create great products and solutions for our customers. You will work closely with the rest of the PALO Thailand leadership team and international colleagues in defining, sharing, and executing on strategic goals and innovations.
Visionary Leadership: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy in alignment with business objectives. Inspire and guide your team towards achieving these goals. 
Team Building: Mentor and lead engineers and less experienced leads in delivering high-quality code and projects. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 
Project Delivery: Oversee end-to-end delivery and technical consulting project, ensuring timely and impactful releases. Use data-driven insights to guide product decisions and improve performance. 
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, COO, and other internal stakeholders in developing business strategy, particularly related to your expertise areas. Support sales and marketing teams in improving market offerings, commercialization and matching customers with the right solutions.  
Technical Excellence: Provide full stack expertise and establish best practices on code quality and performance. Implement automation workflows, champion AI application and opportunities, encourage modern test approaches and shift-left to faster releases and more frequent validation.  
Innovation & Problem-Solving: Design high-performance, scalable solutions using modern cloud technologies and AI models and tools. . Identify and implement opportunities for AI enhancement in application and organization 
Client Engagement: Gather customer requirements, define project scope, and create technical diagrams. Represent PALO technically and with business context understanding in in project discussions and client interactions. 
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain technical documentation. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and integrate them into the company's solutions.
Who You Are 
We are looking for a creative, self-motivated leader with the following qualifications: 
Educational Background: Degree in Engineering, Business, or related professional field; Graduate degree a plus. Experience in software development/delivery, digital management, focusing on AI, data, or technology industries.
Technological Expertise: Strong software development background with experience in scalable, reliable, and secure applications. Proficiency in AI coding assistants and prompt engineering principles. 
Leadership and Mentorship: Proven ability to lead staff and  teams. Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills. 
Strategic Thinker: Ability to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and develop strategic plans. Strong analytical skills and result-oriented decision-making. 
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and influence skills with executive and technical teams. Experience working with clients to align products with market demands. 
Adaptability and Learning: Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with AI advancements. Ability to collaborate with AI tools while maintaining code quality.
Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Strong understanding of programming patterns, principles, and troubleshooting.
