The Role Responsibilities
This role triple hats the Thailand TB Head role and Open Account Trade LPM
To develop, execute and manage the country strategy and products for Transaction Banking business end to end.
This role has supervisory responsibilities and therefore the Bankâ€TMs supervisory principles must be followed
Represent the country for TB products in various country forums and with the regulator
Accountable for the Country performance of the TB business (financial and non-financial), and for supporting the Global TB performance
Drive revenues, liability growth, pipeline growth, product depth, geographic breadth, cross-sell, returns, commercialization
Senior sponsorship of large relationships and Chair Country Client Engagement Forum
Financial Performance and profitability
Responsible for the product P%26amp;L within Thailand and support as required the origination process. Have clear responsibility over pricing and profitability of products and management of assets %26amp; contingents
Work with the Country GB Head in the management of the country ALCOs in alignment. Monitoring market changes and pricing strategies.
Identify investment business cases and the operating models for relevant product line
Determine standard product pricing and monitor collection of fee and NII for the product line.
Develop jointly with the Sales team a local Product %26amp; Sales strategy to meet the country objectives.
Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to capture the opportunities, mitigate the threats and deliver financial performance. Recommend and plan actions to build or reinforce our competitive edge
Drive end to end product performance, improving efficiency through digital transformation, straight through processing and ensuring scalability to grow
Product Management and Development
Responsible as the Local Product Manager of Open Account Trade
Responsible for articulating the product strategy and executing product initiatives on the annual operating plan in conjunction with the Regional Trade Product Head
Responsible for understanding customer needs and develop the client value propositions that will address them across all client segments
Sponsor launches of product enhancements, new products, as required for Trade. Work jointly with Sales and Marketing to develop collaterals for local market, communicate product launches, organize customer events and develop a sales campaign strategy to ensure that the new products meet planned volume and revenue targets
Ensuring global training initiatives are executed for the country in line with the global commercialization agenda.
Identify and market- new business opportunities and revenue pools and articulate the product and client access capabilities needed to seize a share of them
Act as the main conduit for the product line linked investment cases (BRD or PAR or its equivalent) for product development or enhancements and for local regulatory requirements
Establish a strategy that drives a customer-centric view into Transaction Banking with activities including but not limited to focus groups, customer surveys and Voice of the Customer.
Commercialisation
Responsible for commercialization of new product capabilities by ensuring commercialization plans, targets and infrastructure to maximize success for it launch
Provide ongoing support and training to TB sales, RMs, Risk and GTO staff to provide assistance to facilitate understanding of product nuances and operating controls.
Risk %26amp; Governance
Identify and mitigate the Operational, Regulatory and Business conduct risks relating to Trade and Cash products in the country.
Ensure country compliance on Group standard for Audit, Control and financial reporting including reporting of risks to Thailand Country Management Forum and CNFRC
Work with operations to improve overall service standards and to ensure that quality of service to customers remains superior.
Ensure timely renewal of Trade and Cash country addendums (CAs) and proactively work with stakeholders to identify and quantify new and existing risks.
Build strong %26amp; deep relationships with regulatory authorities and local industry bodies, and ensure the business is ahead of the regulatory change agenda.

Our Ideal Candidate
Trade finance experience, particularly Open Account Trade and Trade Financing
Deep end to end knowledge of Trade/TB products
More than 8 years experience in driving Trade/TB products
Influencing and persuasion
Very strong analytical capability
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong drive for results, ability to plan, track and follow through to drive results
Strong programme management skills, attention to detail and diligence in execution
Proven risk management capabilities
