HG Robotics is in search of a motivated and inspired full-time Industrial Designer who will create robotics solutions and experiences that have a genuine impact on people's lives. You will come to strengthen the Industrial Design point of view through a range of design projects and help build an organizational creative culture.
Once you here you will:
Work with our multidisciplinary team to create strategic directions and push our products to the next level.
Go out in the field building empathy through design research activities.
Get involved with all aspects of the design process: framework, concept development, storytelling, brainstorming, visualization, prototyping, user testing, and etc.
Refine concepts through digital and physical modeling.
Specify CMF and communicate with production engineers and manufacturers to ensure high quality products.
Be a part of a community that lets you learn from and share your knowledge with others outside your immediate area of expertise.
Before you here you have:
Bachelor degree in Industrial Design
3-5 years of industrial design professional experience
Knowledge of design thinking and human centric approach
Strong attention to detail and aesthetic sensitivities
Good verbal communication and presentation skills
Excellent visual communication skills - sketching, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
Proficiency using 3D visualization software - SolidWorks, Fusion 360, KeyShot, etc.
Good understanding of mechanical design, materials and manufacturing processes
Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple projects and mediums
Somethings excellent to have:
Passion for bringing innovative, new products to market
Motivated, dynamic, creative and results-oriented
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Good communication in English, both oral and written
