The Data Specialist will be responsible for accessioning or entering/encoding the data from the laboratory specimens, samples or testings, inpatient, outpatient, surgical, doctor's prescription, claims result etc. into a database.
Data entry of needed information in an accurate and timely manner
Validate all information for specimens, patient demographics, and billing information.
Review error reports and enter corrections
Meet department activity and production goals
Keep the confidentiality of records.
