The Network/UC Engineer II is primarily responsible for working on a team at the Red River Service Desk in Las Vegas, NV. This position will handle technical support requests directly from customers as well as escalations from other team members and field engineers. Our engineers are responsible for maintaining user uptime and improving their experiences through effective maintenance, problem identification, and resolution activities, as well as growing and developing the organization's perception with existing customers through exceptional customer service. Candidates must be energetic and focused with a strong motivation to learn new technologies and management and maintenance processes. This position requires dedication, persistence, effective utilization of provided resources, and the ability to deliver superior customer service.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Network related and Unified Communications (UC) and issues, escalating as necessary
Maintains UC network performance by performing UC network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor
Set up, configure, troubleshoot, and test Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM); Cisco Unity Connection (CUC); Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX).
Work with monitoring tools to diagnose via logs and investigate failures or errors in the Network/UC environment.
Collaborate and communicate with other team members to provide good service and issue resolution
Troubleshooting network issues in Switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
Comfortable with troubleshooting and managing firewalls (ASA, FTD, Meraki, Palo Alto, Sonicwall)
Previous experience with fast-paced consulting or MSP environment a plus.

 1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Business, Management or similar relevant field
 2. In-depth knowledge of project management and development procedures
 3. Any additional Project Management Certifications will be considered an advantage

 6. Written and speaking in English medium level.
