Job brief
We are looking for a mid-level PHP Developer to help us with developing web apps. This application uses PHP, MySQL, HTML5 and CSS3. Responsibilities will involve both maintenance of and new development in our various products.
This will be highly motivated, driven, and organized to stay on target with timelines. Must be able to manage time while working remotely.
Responsibilities
Design and develop secure, high-availability, scalable web applications
Write, test, maintain, and troubleshoot source code using standardized processes and development guidelines
Provide time estimates for assigned development tasks
Profile and tune database designs for performance and scalability
Perform code reviews and play an active role in mentoring junior development staff
Research and learn new technologies, also, acquire new skills through independent study
Play a direct role in maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of company-used technologies and code
Participates in the ongoing development of technical best practices
Qualifications
Relevant work experiences in Software development
Minimum 2-3 year of software development experience in PHP
Knowledge in MySQL/JavaScript/ HTML & CSS is a plus
Experiences and familiarity with Agile and Scrum.
Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
