Project Engineer - Power Systems
How would you react if there is an opportunity to work in a reputable generator and power systems manufacturing company with a global footprint Due to business expansion, the company is looking for a project engineer.
JOB PURPOSE:
Provide technical assistance and advice to both the sales personnel and customers and maintaining a high standard of service to the Company's clients through quality service and professionalism in attending to customers needs.
Planning and Scheduling:
Assist in coordinating, scheduling, planning and supervising purchases, production and site management.
Review the scheduling, purchasing, installation, commissioning, operation of equipment/machinery to ensure that all objectives of safety, completion time and profitability are met.
Technical Drawings:
Study and make recommendations on technical drawings prepared by consultants.
Market Information:
Report on the performance of sales products and feedback from customers so as to assist in maintaining customer acceptance.
Attentive to new products and other general information of interest to the Company and customers.
Customer Service:
Handle all customer queries and respond with appropriate actions expeditiously to secure sales and maintain customer satisfaction.
Liaise with all relevant Departments closely on matters pertaining to delivery and receipt of goods and commissioning of equipment.
Follow up with after-sales service to customers.
Maintain contacts with customers with regard to their present and future requirements.
Standard:
Assist in keeping up the Company's long-established good image by providing prompt and good service.
Quality:
Support the Quality philosophy by setting a personal example of high-performance standard and comply with all its requirements.
Comply with all ISO9002 documentation requirements and ensure procedures are adhered to.
Other duties:
Perform other duties as and when assigned.
