Description:
Project Managers at Appsynth serve the key role of managing client relationships while working with a team of designers, tech consultants, developers, QA testers, and data analysts to successfully deliver projects. Qualified candidates must have experience working with senior level clients, managing their expectations and leading cross functional teams to deliver projects with the agreed scope on time and within budget.
As a client service company, Appsynth succeeds when we help our clients succeed and achieve their business goals. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who have strong client service and project management experience.
What you will do:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, including leading client meetings, setting and managing expectations with clients, and negotiating work scope and man day estimates with clients
Help clients define requirements, suggesting ideas and solutions to clients, and documenting requirements
Communicate the requirements and client business goals to the design and technical colleagues at Appsynth who will estimate and perform the work
Take responsibility for project success by continually monitoring the project status, communicating to stakeholders, and taking corrective action
Monitoring and managing the man days spent by the project team to stay within the project budget
What you will need:
At least 2 years project management experience with with an agency, consulting firm, IT company, or other professional services firm
Experience with custom software development projects, preferably with some experience with custom mobile apps
Self-motivated, self-aware and able to drive collaborative success
Must be comfortable with a dynamic environment with experience managing uncertainty and pressure from clients
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to non-technical people at all levels of client organization
A problem solver with excellent critical thinking, analytical skills, and people skills
Must be fluent in Thai and communicate effectively in written English (e.g. emails)
Technical or business degree required (unless compensated by relevant work experience)
PMP and/or Agile certification preferred, but not required
Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, strive to continuously learn, and demonstrate an extremely high sense of ownership
