Job brief
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, as well as debugging and defining corrective actions.
You'll also go over system requirements and keep track of quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)
What you will be doing
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
Monitor debugging process results
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Who we are looking for
Relevant work experiences in development and/or testing role, 3+ years at least.
Experiences and Familiar with Agile and Scrum.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Experience with some common QA testing tools and best practices.
Knowledge of automated testing tools, like Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, etc.
Technical background and understanding of software testing.
Knowledge of Performance testing is an advantage.
Proven ability to manage, self-organized, and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated.
Speak up, strongly stands for quality side, and thinking like a customer/user point of view.
Strong desire to be part of a team and build great products
