WHO WE ARE 
Hi, we are Encubate - an EdTech startup. We are developing an online platform that acts as a digital mentor for aspiring entrepreneurs - helping them develop their entrepreneurial skills and build the foundations of their own business. Imagine Duolingo or Headspace, but for developing entrepreneurial skills.
We have been around since spring 2020 and have recently raised a pre-seed. We operate in the UK, our headquarters is in Prague.
WHY JOIN US
We have been meeting our goals for more than a year, and recently raised our first round. We know our path forward and are heading in the right direction.
Positive impact on society is part of our DNA. Every year around the world ca. 300 million people are trying to start their own business. The vast majority are traditional entrepreneurs who want to have a traditional / local business. More than 60% of them feel a lack of knowledge and don't have access to someone who would advise them at the beginning. We are building a platform that will make it dramatically easier for these people (our users) to start a business, help them increase their chances of success and fulfill their dreams and plans.
We are tackling a massive global problem worth ca. €28 billion. If all goes well (also with your help), we have a chance to become a unicorn with global impact.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
Develop Encubate platform's frontend in React.JS, in the form of a PWA
Participate in creation of UX / UI lead by our CPO, with emphasis on maximising user engagement
Coding of all responsive, mobile-first parts of the website (HTML5 / CSS3)
Active participation in product discovery and preparation of rapid prototypes for testing with users (design and functional)

You will be able to grow together with our development team, up to the role of Principal Engineer or VP of Engineering, and even the CTO
You will be part of product decisions and the product discovery process

You can work fully remotely (with the hope that we will see each other in person at joint teambuildings etc.)
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
2-4 years of experience with the development of responsive web applications (React.JS / HTML5 / CSS3)
Ability to come up with the simplest technical solutions for our customers' needs
Interest in improving your UX/UI skills in the field of mobile-first webdesign an advantage
Excellent knowledge of English (min. B2)
