OKKAMI is looking for Senior Platform Developer (Ruby on Rails) to be part of the team of our mobile application for travelers. This is a chance to take a pivotal role in a diverse, technology driven startup poised to redefine the $6 trillion travel industry. The role is based out of our office in Bangkok, on Sukhumvit, Soi 11

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Qualifications:
Experience with Ruby on Rails framework, RSpec, JavaScript, Coffeescript, Bootstrap and CSS
Experience with automated testing suites such as Rspec
Experience with cloud/virtual technologies such as AWS, Azure, VMware, etc.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Redis
3-4 years of experience in software development is preferred
Strong object-oriented programming skills
Understanding of REST APIs
Experience with creating UI both with or without storyboards including experience with responsive design
Rock solid at working with third-party SDKs, libraries, APIs and dependencies
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, GitHub
Experience with automated testing suites
Experience in web app deployment and lifecycle through CI/CD tools
Responsibilities:
Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs web app.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance
Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes
Maintain code and write RSpec tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
