We are looking for a Senior Cloud Architect who will be architecting a highly scalable cloud business suite platform processing a high volume of data under defined SLA
You will be architecting the platform for both new business tools and making the old ones better and faster.
Our tech stack includes Elasticsearch, Kibana, ElastiCache/Redis, MongoDB Atlas, AWS S3, Kinesis, Typescript, .NET and Serverless
Technical Skills for this role
Oversee cloud infrastructure design and develop detailed architecture models for different parts of the platform including development and production.
Provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving architectural recommendations.
Lead proof of concept efforts for candidate architectures.
Develop and document technical designs for integration and implementation of new cloud applications and systems
Optimize cost of cloud solutions by identifying waste and automating cloud cost management
Lead the development of technical artifacts including Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Detailed Technical Design, Security Architecture Plan, Services Description Document, etc.
Adopt and communicate new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices and designs. (ITIL)
Assess emerging technologies, stay abreast of industry trends, and give advice on investments prices versus performance
Experience with highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
Certifications (Desired): AWS - Solutions Architect - Professional
Requirements:
7+ years software or infrastructure architecture experience
2+ years experience with micro services architecture
1+ years plus with infrastructure as a code.
Functional understanding of data analysis and database architecture (SQL and NoSQL structures)
Exceptional skills in at least one high-level programming language (.NET, Java, Typescript or other equivalents)
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Useful skills for this role.
You have used JIRA and understand what a good workflow looks like.
Experience with Servers, Infrastructure, Platform Sizing, Infrastructure Cost Reduction
