As a Financial Analyst of a fast growing fintech company backed by leading Venture Capital firms in Southeast Asia, this is a critical role not only related to the traditional tasks for budgeting and forecasting, but also involving activities related to fundraising, credit and risk analysis, management of investors requests and other ad hoc reporting and financial analysis. Working closely with the Finance Director, the CEO and the Board, you will be responsible to support different areas of the company, actively participating in the creation and/or maintenance of financial models to support analysis related to financial planning, fundraising, risk and other relevant business departments of Uploan.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct quantitative analyses and/or studies across the Company, focusing on building financial models and developing financial insights, but may also include non-financial studies such as operations models;
Coordination with different business departments such as Risk, Credit, Investor Relations, Data etc. in order to develop and maintain reports and analysis related to the business growth;
Traditional forecasting and modelling of financial statements;
Preparation of budgets and forecasts and maintenance for reporting to the Board, Investors and Lenders;
Develop a way to attribute costs and assign the revenue to variables which the business will want to measure.
Financial performance review and comments/suggestions on improvements;
Valuation and benchmark studies;
Other ad hoc studies that are needed in order to support C-level discussion and decision making.
QUALIFICATIONS:
With or without professional experience;
Good interpersonal skills, as you will interact with colleagues at all levels within the Company
A passion for excellence and a desire to help build things from the ground up, as Uploan is a young startup with a fast growth trajectory;
Strong understanding and application of financial principles, standards, industry practices, techniques and concepts;
Highly organized and detail oriented;
Demonstrate good judgment in selection methods and techniques for obtaining solutions;
Knowledgeable and interested in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting;
Knowledge in financial institution balance sheet and profit and loss analysis techniques is a plus.
