Responsibilities:
Proficiency in SQL Server, with good understanding of database design and development
Extensive experience on MS BI stack using SQL Server 2014 to integrate with other SQL Servers, flat files, and other data sources.
Strong understanding of DW concepts / methodologies and data modelling, and cube design
Building meaningful reports and dashboards on Power BI. Hands-on with report subscriptions.
Qualifications:
5 years experience
5 years' experience with Power BI AND SSIS, SSRS, SSAS (tools to clear and organize data)
Excellent T-SQL and MSBI coding skills using advanced techniques
Experience working with very large databases and/or data warehousing.
Strong written, verbal, and graphical communications skills with the ability to express complex technical concepts effectively
Research, relate and recommend technical solutions and relevant software application tools, utilities, environments and languages.
Proactively take up additional responsibilities as required by management
Key Technical Competencies:
Develop and maintain tables, indexes, stored procedures, views, triggers and other objects utilizing the latest DML and DDL syntax.
Understanding of SDLC, development methodologies, and version control.
Adhere to standards and best practices for all databases, e.g., Data models, Data architecture, Naming conventions
Manage the lifecycle of physical data models and data maps for database/warehouse system.
Proficiency in SQL Server, with good understanding of database design and development
