Qualifications:
 Advance knowledge in Non-Life Insurance
 With at least 5-years of experience in non-life insurance underwriting. Knowledgeable in all lines of business and reinsurance transactions.
 Can do Underwriting Manual/Guidelines
 Knowledgeable with the rules and regulations governing insurance business
 Knowledgeable in Insurance systems like GENYSIIS etc.
 With Strong Patience and can work under pressure.
 Good in verbal and written communication skills
 Knowledgeable to use Microsoft Office Tools, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
Job Description:
 Assure and manage the efficiency of the Underwriting Operations
 Assure that all business/underwriting process is within the approved company guidelines
 Assure that all the reports and requirements by Government Agencies (IC) are submitted within the prescribed timeline.
 Assure that all processes, procedures, and underwriting guidelines are reviewed and updated accordingly.
 Assure that all rules, memorandum and regulation imposed by the Board of Directors and Management are well conveyed to his/her subordinates.
 Assure that the strategy/ies of the department are aligned with the company's goals/objectives.
 Provide underwriting reports to the top management if necessary.
 Responsible for the continuous growth and development of his/her subordinates. Conduct training if deemed necessary.
 Maintains good and professional relationships amongst members of the team.
 Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Top Management.
