BIOPATH CLINICAL DIAGNOSTICS
Is currently looking for:
STUDY MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (STUDY MEDTECH)
WORK HOURS: Full-time
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a Registered Medical Technologist or Registered Laboratory Technologist;
Must have an interest in the field of research;
Must be trainable and willing to be trained;
Can work with minimal supervision; organized and meticulous;
Must be highly proficient in English; Proficiency in Cebuano dialect is a plus;
Have absolute integrity in handling confidential research data; and
Knowledgeable in basic computer applications (MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint)
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs specimen management processes (specimen collection, transportation, processing, storage and shipment) following the study protocols, study specific procedures (SSPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs);
Completes all the laboratory-related documents required by the study protocols, SSPs and SOPs;
Assists in specimen data management;
Assists in developing, revising, and/or reviewing the study protocols, SSPs, and SOPs;
Operates the laboratory equipment and maintains the equipment notebook used in the study;
Maintains the availability of assigned laboratory materials and office supplies needed in the study;
Complies to all institution’s policies; and
Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator or supervisor.
