Why we need you
We are looking for a Product Designer to join our team to help us grow our Opn team. The Opn team will be based in Thailand and Japan, building the Opn Commerce product which will be used by corporate clients around the world. These enterprise services and solutions will vary from project to project but will primarily revolve around eWallets, payment solutions, and other mobile applications.
What you will be doing
Lead and oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and content strategists
Define, craft, and evolve designs within visual systems and/or standards
Communicate key ideas to stakeholders through the use of wireframes, storyboards, flows, and more
Own the content strategy and UX writing across several new products
Applying systems thinking while working with other teams on scoping and solving interconnected problems
Communicate key ideas to stakeholders through the use of wireframes, storyboards, flows, and more
Develop design specifications and guidelines as well as produce mockups and prototypes
Applying systems thinking while working with other teams on scoping and solving interconnected problems
Create high quality and innovative interfaces that address business requirements whilst maintaining UX/UI best practices with balanced brand expression and utility
Iterate on designs based on creative feedback, data, and research
What you have
2-5 years experience working as a UX/UI designer on cross-functional projects
Design for the entire product process from flows to interactions at a granular level
Strong visual design skills with an understanding of user interaction, design patterns, information architectures, and user experience concepts
Visual Design skills with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function
Familiar with working in an agile/scrum development environment
Familiar with visual design stages from conception to hand-off to evaluation
Ability to manage tasks simultaneously and collaborate with other team members
Track record of producing attractive visual designs which conform to stakeholder requirements
Experience using Sketch, Figma, Illustrator, XD, Photoshop, and other design software
Ability to communicate in English
