This position is a client-facing role at our Cloud Business Unit "Arctian".
We build custom web and mobile software for local and international clients. Our specialization is building modern cloud native applications and we take the same approach to our design: modern and progressive. 
We have offices in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. You may work remotely anywhere in Thailand, but you are expected to be able to travel frequently to an office for meetings if requested.
Job description
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Working with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to flesh out ideas and concepts
Acting as the user advocate during the development process
Creating modern, accessible, mobile-first, user focused designs. Including:
Creating polished visual languages that support the clients' brand standards
Developing wireframes, behavioral specifications, and personas
Creating style guides and high fidelity designs
Prototyping and experimenting to achieve the best user interface
Taking design feedback and incorporating it
Creating icons, logos, and assets for projects 
Learning and staying up to date with the latest industry trends and best practises
Sharing your point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends
Qualifications
Business level command of English is required; business level command of Thai is a plus
3+ years of experience in visual design, UI design, UX design, or related field - ideally at a start-up or agency
An online portfolio showing user-centered design solutions that includes websites and mobile apps
Proficient with a modern design tool, such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
Knowledge of design principles related to branding, marketing, and applications with understanding of UX design, information hierarchy, user-flow, layout, typography, and colour
Knowledge of Accessibility and Localization as it applies to design
Familiarity with HTML and CSS; Front-end development experience is a plus
Strong listening and communication skills
An aptitude for user empathy and compassion
Experience working with design systems
Passion for problem solving
