The Plant Manager will oversee the daily operations of a hydropower plant. This role involves ensuring the efficient, reliable, and safe operation of the plant while meeting the strategic objectives of the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hydropower plant management, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Lead and manage the plant operations team, including operators, engineers, and support staff.
2) Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal plant performance.
3) Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
4) Monitor and analyze plant performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
5) Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities to ensure plant reliability.
6) Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
7) Develop and manage the plant's operational budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
8) Coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts and materials.
9) Optimize the use of technology and tools to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
10) Provide technical guidance and support to the operations team on complex issues.
11) Stay updated with the latest advancements in hydropower technology and operational practices.
12) Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for operational issues.
13) Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance, engineering, and safety, to ensure seamless plant operations.
14) Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on plant activities and performance.
15) Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and equipment suppliers.
16) Identify training needs and opportunities for the plant operations team.
17) Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of plant personnel.
18) Mentor and coach team members to support their professional growth and development.
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร :
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in plant management within the hydropower or energy sector.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. In-depth knowledge of hydropower plant operations and technologies.
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
