Head housekeeper is responsible for all aspect of running the department such as training and budgeting, and to ensure that every detail is attended whether cleaning, repairing and stocking of necessary supplies. Head housekeeper also responsible for repairing and replacing damaged items by liaising with other departments such as technician and front office this is to ensure the resort standard and the customer requests are met.

The ability to recruits, trains, motivates and leads the staff
Good communication
Strong organization skills
A practical approach and an eye for detail
Ability to work unsocial hour (accommodation need to be open 24 hours a day) includes start work early finish work late and have to work shift during weekend and public holidays
Ability to involve doing the actual cleaning
Have knowledge of all type of cleaning and sanitation equipment and agents.
Ability to work around chemicals as well as ability to lift and move heavy furniture.
Have a good understanding on the proper method used for cleaning and caring for sensitive materials and objects.
