We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in a ETL/ELT developer role who does not need to have an IT related degree.
What you will do:
Work in an Agile Development Team to deliver value based on business requirements
Create and maintain large and complex data pipeline architecture
Develop ETL/ELT (data ingestion/transformation) tasks from various sources into data lake with GUI tools or with programming language (Python)
Deploy and monitor ETL/ELT data pipeline in Staging/Production environment
Document all technical and system specifications documents for all ETL/ELT processes
Provide user's manual and other required documentations
What you must have:
Technical Skills:
Data Workflow Automation Platform (Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi)
Data Integration/Machine Learning Platform (KNIME, Talend, Alteryx)
Distributed Data Processing Framework (Apache Spark, Dask)
Hadoop Ecosystem Software (HDFS, YARN, Apache Hive)
SQL Command and Store Procedure (MS-SQL, Oracle, MySQL)
Scripting Programming Languages (Python, Ruby, PHP)
Distributed Version Control Software (git, hg)
Personal Skills:
Strong project management and organizational skills
Experience performing root cause analysis and processes to answer business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ability to communicate and with team members
Capability to research technology for complex problem solving
Strong enthusiasm, team oriented, and entrepreneurial way of thinking
